Your career at ASIS

ACTIVATE is ASIS’s 12 month Graduate Program designed to launch your career through rotation-based on-the-job experience and training.

ASIS graduates gain experience through corporate and operational work placements as well as the opportunity to travel and undertake specialist training. The Program provides you with a broad overview of ASIS.

Graduates who successfully complete ACTIVATE will be offered an ongoing position within ASIS, based on performance, skills and career goals.

The ACTIVATE Graduate Program will provide a broad overview of the Service as you rotate through a variety of job roles. Each rotation will provide you with an opportunity to establish and extend your network with employees who are experienced in a range of operational and corporate areas.

Who can apply?

Your participation in the ACTIVATE Graduate Program will be based on the following:

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Program you must be an Australian citizen.

Security Assessment:

Applicants for the Program will be required to undergo security assessment to obtain a high level Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

The Program is open to Undergraduate and Post-graduate university students in their final year of study or students who have graduated within two years of applying with discipline-related experience.

ASIS graduates are also eligible for 22 days annual leave per year and a broad range of leave entitlements to support family and personal responsibilities. ASIS will make employer superannuation contributions as required by the applicable legislation and fund requirements.
